LRT Kelana Jaya Line disruption – train stuck at Abdullah Hukum earlier, service on line to end 11.15pm –

If you’re using the LRT Kelana Jaya Line from KLCC to the Kelana Jaya station tonight (November 7), take note that the service has been disrupted. In a tweet made at 11.04 pm, Rapid KL said the train service from Gombak to Kelana Jaya stations on the line would end at 11.15 pm.

Elsewhere, in another update, the company said that the services on the LRT Ampang Line from Masjid Jamek tand the MRT Kajang Line from Pasar Seni will be extended until 1am. It added that it was deploying eight buses to provide free shuttle services from KLCC, Pasar Seni and Kelana Jaya stations.

An hour earlier, Rapid KL had announced that there was currently no train service between KLCC Station to Kelana Jaya Station, and advised passengers to use the free intermediate bus service provided or take other alternative modes of transport to get to where they are going to.

According to social media posts, a train on the line was stuck at the Abdullah Hukum interchange station platform more than an hour ago, with passengers inside unable to get out. This also led to a crowd buildup on the platform and the station.

Those making their way back from Mid Valley towards the Kelana Jaya area are advised to take the intermediate bus service or utilise ride-hailing services to get to their destination. No word if the LRT Kelana Jaya Line will be open tomorrow morning.
