Triumph Motorcycles officially teased the next-generation Tiger 1200 adventure-tourer.
The British two-wheeler brand took to social media to showcase the upcoming next-gen Tiger 1200. The teasers showcased the prototype version of the motorcycle, covered in camouflage. Triumph also stated that the next-gen Tiger 1200 will be lighter and more powerful than the current model on sale.
While the brand hasn’t revealed any details, the teaser images of the motorcycle reveals that the upcoming Tiger 1200 will feature a dual-sided swingarm. The motorcycle is also expected to send power to the rear wheels via a driveshaft.
The next-gen Triumph Tiger 1200 can also be seen sporting USD forks at the front and a mono-shock set-up at the rear, both of them are expected to offer various levels of adjustment. Braking will be handled by Brembo discs at either end, supported by ABS.
The new-gen Triumph Tiger 1200 could carry forward the same 1,215cc three-cylinder engine from the current model. However, the engine will be heavily reworked to offer the extra power, while also reducing weight where possible.
The teaser for the next-gen Triumph Tiger 1200 come just a week after the brand also teased the upcoming entry-level ADV-tourer, the Tiger Sport 660. Apart from the two Tiger ADV offerings, Triumph also has lined up the arrival of the Speed Triple 1200 RR.
