Rainforest Mist Little Trees Failed to Save These Cars from the Crusher

After we observed some Relax-scented Little Tree air fresheners in discarded vehicles of five American states, I decided to continue this junkyard-photography series with a scent that the folks at Car-Freshner still offer: Rainforest Mist. This scent offers just what an olfactorily-challenged, seventh-owner motor vehicle needs: The perfect harmony of bamboo waters, lush greens, and exotic flowers. Since most of the regions of the five states in which I found these trees (Colorado, California, Arizona, Wisconsin and North Carolina) lack rainforests, this scent must have had considerable appeal to the final owners of these machines.
