You’ve spent countless hours in your garage creating your full-size toy, and now you’ll have another chance to find out how it would look in 1:64th scale. Hot Wheels is about to kick off another Legends Tour, with its first stop online.
Entering its fourth year, the 2021 Legends Tour’s will start on the Hot Wheels Facebook page on April 29 at 5:00 PM PDT, and simulcast on the throtl YouTube Channel. Just like the folks watching for fun, the judges of the event will be viewing these cars in real time and judging accordingly. Like previous years, the judges range from the global head of Hot Wheels design Ted Wu to professional drifter Ryan Tuerck, and everyone in between.
Registering for this digital event is as easy as filling out a form on the Hot Wheels website. As you would imagine, you’ll also need to include a picture of the vehicle to be judged, and the form asks you for a short description. The form should take just minutes to finish—and possibly lead to your ride being immortalized in die-cast zinc. Previous winners range from the wild Nash you see at the top of this page, to last year’s 1970 Pontiac Trans Am, which means anything can win.
There will be more events in the Hot Wheels Legends Tour, and those dates will be announced shortly. Until then, go grab a good shot of your car and sign up for the virtual show, right here.
